Gould considers abstraction a “journey of exploration into the unknown”, incorporating the idea of cultivating the emergent. His more recent work reflects optimism and, perhaps, toward a more spiritual direction. The images continue to be energetic and dynamic. His paintings resound in a symphony of “hope”, unfolding in freedom and discovery.
