“Humor is currency. It breaks down barriers, cements relationships, closes deals…people do business with people they like. In the 50s, Lucille Ball starred in I Love Lucy. As the saying goes, she was “dumb as a fox”. She was not only a famous comedienne (known for her trademark silliness), but she was the first woman to own a Production Studio in Hollywood. When I travelled for business “stuff” would just happen to me. I would tell my stories and one CEO told me I should write a book called “Travels with Therese”. Hence the birth of “Lucy Moments” throughout the book. Honestly, I couldn’t make this stuff up!
